Announcing Ushahidi v3.0.0-beta.8 release!

Ushahidi v3.0.0-beta.8 is out! Take it out for a spin on our demo site, but keep in mind that this is not ready for production, but we continue to get closer.

What’s changed?

We upgraded frontend libraries to improve view loading.

Multiple actions that were only relevant for admins have now been hidden from normal users.

We improved the process of selecting and editing records in the management screens.

The default page sizes have been increased to show more content per page.

The paging arrows will be completely hidden when only one page exists.

Post counts in the menu have been restored.

We made the application startup more robust, preventing unnecessary reloading of content.

What’s New?

Searching for numbers will search for matching post IDs.

Vagrant VM was overhauled to perform a more complete install.

Form groups can now be created and edited from the UI.

User paging preferences are now persistent.

Modal (popup) windows now require confirmation when there are unsaved changes.

Translators Power Ushahidi: Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen a number of you jump in and help us get translations of Ushahidi products over 80% on each language.
